Sophomore forward Courtney Edmundo collected her second double-double of the season to power the Rutgers-Camden women’s basketball team over Rutgers-Newark, 69-44, in the Scarlet Raptors’ New Jersey Athletic Conference opener last week. It was the only game of the week for Rutgers-Camden, which raised its record to 4-3 overall and 1-0 in the NJAC. Edmundo had game-high totals of 16 points, 12 rebounds and five assists, while adding four steals and two blocked shots. She shot 7-for-11 from the floor and 2-for-3 from the foul line. For the season, Edmundo is tied for the team lead in scoring (13.6 ppg) and leads the Raptors in rebounding (9.0 rpg), blocks (18) and steals (17). She is second on the team with 19 assists.
