Freshman guard Cara Racobaldo had a stellar week to help the Rutgers University-Camden women’s basketball team earn back-to-back New Jersey Athletic Conference victories for the first time since the 2011-12 season. In a 65-63 victory over New Jersey City University Jan. 14, Racobaldo notched 15 points, five rebounds, one assist and one steal as the Scarlet Raptors snapped a 30-game conference losing streak. They followed that up with a 76-57 win at Ramapo College Saturday, with Racobaldo producing career highs with 18 points, eight assists and nine steals. She also added nine rebounds, as she came very close to a quadruple double. For the season, the talented freshman leads the team with 62 assists and 47 steals. She also is averaging 7.1 points and 6.1 rebounds per game.
