Sophomore Joe Sigismondi (Blackwood, NJ/Highland Regional) worked the first five innings for the Scarlet Raptors, scattering seven hits and allowing two earned runs. Sigismondi (1-0) struck out one, hit two batters and didn't issue a walk to complete his stellar week for the Scarlet Raptors. In addition to earning his first collegiate victory against York, he hit .520 (13-for-25) during the week as the team's second baseman.

Sophomore Kyle Gaff (Gloucester, NJ/Gloucester) worked the final four innings for his second save, allowing three hits and two runs, one of them unearned. He walked two and struck out three.

In the game, Hall went 4-for-5 with two runs and five RBIs, while Tenuto was 4-for-6 with one run and two RBIs as Rutgers-Camden pounded out 16 hits against four York pitchers. Porter and Brooks both went 3-for-6 with two RBIs. Brooks scored three runs, while Porter scored once.

York senior southpaw Tyler Alexander (Hummelstown, PA/Lower Dauphin) took the loss, his first decision of the season. He worked four innings, allowing five hits, one walk and four earned runs. He struck out seven.

Pitzer went 3-for-5 to lead the Spartans' 10-hit attack.

Rutgers-Camden plays a 3:30 p.m. non-conference game at 12-12 DeSales University Monday.
