Potts, Hall power Raptors over Stockton

Connor Hall...seventh HR of the season provides both runs
Box Score

CAMDEN, N.J. – Senior righthander
Tommy Potts
(Audubon, NJ/Gloucester Catholic).
Jankowski's single plated Solomen, but kept the tying run from scoring. Potts ended the game with a called third strike.

Potts finished with an eight-hitter, walking two and striking out six. He allowed the one earned run in the ninth inning to out-duel Warburton (2-3) in a classic pitchers' duel. Warburton tossed a five-hitter, with three of them off the bat of Raptor sophomore shortstop Joe Sigismondi (Blackwood, NJ/Highland Regional).

Sigismondi opened the fourth inning with a single and was erased on a fielder's choice by freshman designated hitter Joe Brooks (Blackwood, NJ/Gloucester Catholic). One out later, Hall blasted his home run to right field, accounting for the Raptors' lone runs.

Solomen and Oliver each had two hits for the Ospreys.

Both teams return to NJAC action with 11:30 a.m. home doubleheaders Saturday. Stockton hosts Rutgers-Newark and Rutgers-Camden entertains The College of New Jersey.
