The Red Hawks' senior ace
Alex Hill (Parsippany, NJ/Parsippany Hills) tossed a four-hit shutout in the opening game, walking one and striking out 11 to raise her record to 15-1. Hill had to be strong to out-duel Raptor sophomore righty
(Gloucester City, NJ/Gloucester City) and a single by sophomore second baseman
Cait Eltzholtz (Bellmawr, NJ/Gloucester Catholic). Hill relieved Cullen and, after walking Scott to load the bases, got one out before sophomore third baseman
Katie Larson (Delran, NJ/Delran) plated the run with a sacrifice fly to right field.
Eltzholtz, who had a single in both games, was the lone Raptor with multiple hits on the day.
