GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA - Rutgers-Camden traveled to Gwynedd Valley, Pennsylvania this weekend to compete in a Gwynedd-Mercy tri-match.  The Scarlet Raptors started the day with a 3-to-0 win over Centenary College. The second game of the tri-match was against Gwynedd-Mercy.  The Scarlet Raptors beat the Griffins 3-to-0.
 
Rutgers-Camden opened against Centenary College on Saturday at 2:00pm.  The Scarlet Raptors beat the Cyclones 3-0 (25-9, 25-15, and 25-11). 

Junior Alexandra Griffin had a game high 11 kills. Olivia Rowland notched 10 kills, a solo block, and 2 block assists.

Setter Nancy Brown recorded 30 assists, a dig, and a service ace, while sophomore Melanie Kaiser had 14 digs. Caitlin Marchlowitz and Sydney Allen each tallied 4 services aces.
 
The Scarlet Raptors second game of the day was against Gwynedd-Mercy. The Scarlet Raptors beat the Griffins 3-to-0 (25-18, 25-15, and 25-18).

Nancy Brown notched 25 assists, 4 kills, 6 digs and 2 service aces. Defensive Specialist Caitlin Marchlowitz had 21 digs. Junior Alexandra Griffin recorded 7 digs and 7 kills.

Olivia Rowland had a stellar defensive performance with 4 solo blocks and a block assist. Rowland also had 7 kills and a dig. Junior Sydney Allen had a team high 8 kills, 2 service aces, and a solo block.
 
Rutgers-Camden (3-8, NJAC 0-0) will host Rowan University on Tuesday, September 16^th at 7:00pm.
