UNION, NJ – The Kean University Cougars topped the Scarlet Raptors in the first round on the New Jersey Athletic Conference Women's Volleyball Championship Tournament on Tuesday, 3-to-2 (25-17, 23-25, 23-25, 25-21, and 15-11).

Senior middle hitter Olivia Rowland had a stellar performance with a 12 kills, 4 solo blocks, 3 block assists, 2 digs and an assist.  Sydney Allen had 8 kills, 2 solo blocks, 2 block assists, and 3 digs. Caitlin Marchlowitz notched 9 kills, a service ace and 12 digs.

Setter Brooke Hassan had 34 assists, 15 digs, and 4 kills. Libero Erin Thompson had 22 digs and 4 assists. Kristin Bellamy recorded 5 kills, 2 block assists, and a dig.

Rutgers-Camden finishes the season 13-13 and 4-4 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference.
