Box Score COLLEGEVILLE, Penn. (Sept. 8, 2015) – Senior leadership was on display for the Rutgers University-Camden volleyball team here Tuesday night.

Kristin Bellamy (Brookhaven, PA/Cardinal O'Hara) and middle hitters
Sydney Allen (Magnolia, NJ/Sterling) and
Olivia Rowland (Hillsborough, NJ/Hillsborough) combined for 26 kills and 29 assists to power Rutgers-Camden over Ursinus College, 25-20, 25-15 and 26-24.
The Scarlet Raptors raised their record to 2-4 with their second win in three outings, while the Bears fell to 2-3.
Bellamy and Rowland collected eight kills apiece, while Allen added seven for the Scarlet Raptors. Rowland added two solo blocks and one assisted block, while Allen and Bellamy each had one assist. Hassan notched match-high totals of 27 assists and four service aces, while adding three kills and four digs.
Sophomore defensive specialist
Erin Thompson (Mays Landing, NJ/Oakcrest) continued her stellar early-season play with a match-high 25 digs, while also adding one service ace. Junior libero/defensive specialist
Melanie Kaiser (Somerdale, NJ/Sterling) added 11 digs, two aces and one assist.

Caitlin Marchlowitz (Marlton, NJ/Cherokee) added five kills and four digs for the Raptors, who also received four kills, three digs and one assisted block from sophomore outside hitter
Cortnee Wilkerson (Los Angeles, CA/West Adams Prep). Freshman setter
Kim Bryfogle (Collingswood, NJ/Paul VI) added five digs.
With the score tied 24-24 in the final set, Rutgers-Camden took the lead for good on a kill by Allen, assisted by Hassan. The Scarlet Raptors closed out the win on an attack error by Ursinus.
Rutgers-Camden returns to action Thursday when it hosts William Paterson University at 7 p.m. in the New Jersey Athletic Conference opener for both teams.
