CHESTERTOWN, Maryland (Sept. 8, 2018) – The Washington College women's soccer team launched 22 shots in the first half and 36 in the game as it defeated Rutgers University-Camden, 2-0, in a non-conference game here Saturday.
The Shorewomen scored both of their goals in a span of 1:52 during the first half as they improved to 2-0. Rutgers-Camden fell to 1-2.

Natalie Eberhardt made 11 saves in the game and the Raptors also added a backsave, but Washington College managed to score the only goals it needed midway through the opening half. At 22:36, Eberhardt made a save off a shot by Olivia Sabatino, but Emily Jacoby collected the loose ball rebound and finished off her second goal of the season.
Moments later, Arianna Sabatino scored her second goal of the year, ripping a shot into the upper right corner at 24:28. She was assisted by Sara Douglas.
Washington finished with a 36-7 advantage in shots and a 6-1 lead in corner kicks. Goalie Annalie Buscarino made six saves in her shutout. Three of the saves came against Raptor junior midfielder

The Scarlet Raptors return to action Monday when they host Neumann University in a 7 p.m. non-conference game.
