RADNOR, Penn. (Sept. 19, 2019) – Two quick strikes in the opening half lifted the Cabrini University women's soccer team over Rutgers University-Camden, 3-1, in a non-conference game here Thursday night.
The Cavaliers scored a pair of goals in a 36-second span in the 15th minute as they improved to 4-1-1. Rutgers-Camden fell to 0-5.
Senior Diana VanSickle scored for the Cavaliers at 14:03, netting her second tally of the year to give Cabrini a 1-0 lead. Only 36 seconds later, Katelyn Gillinger notched her third tally of the season.

Lindsay Hernandez scored her first Raptor goal on a penalty kick. Cabrini's Alex Garces countered in the 65th minute with her fourth goal of the season, assisted by Rebekah Cunningham.
Cabrini held a 12-5 advantage in shots, including 8-2 in the opening half. The Cavaliers also took all three corner kicks in the game.

Natalie Eberhardt made two saves, while junior keeper Ashley Tutzauer earned the shutout for Cabrini with one save.
The Scarlet Raptors open their New Jersey Athletic Conference schedule Saturday with a 1 p.m. game at Montclair State University.
