(Sept. 21, 2021) – The Rutgers University-Camden men's soccer team went on the road Tuesday night, looking to end a mild slump that had seen the Scarlet Raptors go 0-2-1 in their previous three games, with both losses coming to Top 25 teams (#15 Montclair State and #18 SUNY Cortland in the latest D3soccer.com Top 25).
Sophomore forward
Khylei Neal scored the game's lone goal early in the opening half and Rutgers-Camden went on to defeat Immaculata University, 1-0.
The victory lifts the Scarlet Raptors to 4-2-2, while the Mighty Macs fall to 1-5-1.
Neal's second goal of the season and first career game-winning tally came only 7:28 into the contest. It was assisted by freshman forward
Ian Bialy, who was making his first career start.

Sean Boen didn't need to make a save while registering his first career shutout. He raised his record to 2-0.
Immaculata goalie Garrett Pepper had three saves.
Rutgers-Camden returns to action Saturday when it travels to Kean University for a 1 p.m. New Jersey Athletic Conference game.
