UNION, N.J. (Oct. 8, 2022) – The Rutgers University-Camden women's soccer team remained unbeaten in the New Jersey Athletic Conference as it played to a 0-0 tie with Kean University here Saturday.
The Scarlet Raptors stand at 3-0-1 in the NJAC and 4-5-2 overall. Kean is 0-2-2 in the conference and 3-5-4 overall.
Rutgers-Camden outshot the home team, 10-9, including 5-3 in shots on goal. A pair of sophomores,
Alyson Petro and
Josie Jackson-Conner, both had two shots on goal for the Scarlet Raptors.
Both teams took three corner kicks.
Rutgers-Camden goalies combined for three saves, with sophomore
Michaela Graham making one save in 39:50 minutes of playing time, while junior
Kayla McKeever made two saves in 50:10.
Kean sophomore keeper Julia Masucci had five saves.
Rutgers-Camden returns to action Wednesday when it entertains Rowan University in a 7 p.m. NJAC game.
