CAMDEN, N.J. (April 28, 2023) – The rainy weekend has forced several changes in the schedules for the Rutgers University-Camden baseball and golf programs.

The Scarlet Raptors' baseball team, which was supposed to wrap up its regular-season New Jersey Athletic Conference schedule Friday and Saturday, was rained out. Rutgers-Camden will make up Friday's game at The College of New Jersey on Monday at 3:30 p.m. and make up a NJAC doubleheader, scheduled for Montclair State University Saturday, on Tuesday, TBA.

Friday's game at TCNJ was called in the third inning with the teams tied at 2-2, forcing the rescheduled event.

With the weekend rainouts, the NJAC playoffs have now been moved and will start at campus sites on Thursday before moving to a weekend schedule at Kean University. The playoffs originally were supposed to start Tuesday.

On the golf front, the Scarlet Raptors are out in Mill Hall, Pennsylvania, for the United East Conference Championships. The event was scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday, but Sunday's forecast has forced the United East to attempt to play all 36 holes on Saturday.
