Dinerman, Bordon lead Scarlet Raptors at Highlander Invitational
LANGHORNE, Penn. (Oct. 5, 2024) –Sophomore
Jacob Dinerman won the 93-man 8K race and junior
Isabella Bordon finished 16th of 66 in the women's 6K field as the Scarlet Raptors competed in the Highlander Invitational Saturday at Cairn University.
Dinerman posted a time of 27:27.8 to help the Scarlet Raptor men finish sixth in an 11-team field with 184 points. Bordon had a 6K time of 29:05.2 as the Scarlet Raptor women finished third of nine teams with 125 points.

The Felician women won the 6K race with 22 points, while Cairn's Clarisse Hayden was the individual winner (24:38.0). On the men's side, Felician edged Georgian Court for the team title, 52-54.
Freshman
Yaniel Colon finished second on the Rutgers-Camden men's team and 37th overall (34:24.0), while sophomore co-captain
Angel Chaj placed 56th overall (39:14.2), and freshmen
Kristopher Ewell and
Josiah Saint Elien ran 67th and 68th, respectively in times of 41:26.6 and 41:26.7.
On the women's side, the second Raptor runner was junior
Xochitl Bautista-Castelan, who placed 25th overall with a 30:48.3 clocking. Sophomore
Lindsay Lopez Trejo was 32nd (32:49.6), senior
Maria Lopez finished 37th (34:44.7), junior
Evelyn Macias Pilco placed 40th (36:46.8) and senior
Adriana Bradley was 41st (36:54.1). Sophomore
Mya Cabanas Montero finished 50th (42:03.0) for the Raptors.
The Scarlet Raptors will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 19, when it runs at the Border Battle, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Gloucester County Dream Park in Logan Township.
