Dinerman leads men's cross country team at NCAA Metro Regionals
GALLOWAY, N.J. (Nov. 16, 2024) – Rutgers University-Camden sophomore
Jacob Dinerman finished 21st out of 186 athletes to help the Scarlet Raptors finish 20th out of 27 teams in the NCAA Metro Regionals here Saturday at Stockton University.
Rutgers-Camden finished with 599 points in the race won by Moravian (29). Haverford's Peter LaRochelle was the individual winner in the 8K race with a time of 24:34.8.
The Rutgers-Camden women's team didn't compete in the race.
Dinerman, a New Jersey Athletic Conference First Team runner this season, posted a time of 25:39.3 for his second-fastest time of the season.
Freshman
Josiah Saint Elien finished second on the Scarlet Raptors and 140th overall with an 8K PR of 30:52.6, while freshman
Antonio Busbee posted a 32:26.4 clocking to place third on the team and 154th overall.
Another freshman,
Kristopher Ewell, finished fourth on the Raptors and 156th overall with a time of 32:38.4 and freshman
Yaniel Colon placed fifth on the Raptors and 169th overall in 35:23.6. Sophomore
Angel Chaj was sixth on the team and 178th overall with a time of 36:57.1.
