CAMDEN, N.J. (Dec. 7, 2024) – Senior guard Peter Gorman scored a game-high 22 points to lead four Ramapo College players in double figures as the Roadrunners defeated Rutgers University-Camden, 84-71, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game here Saturday afternoon.
The Roadrunners improve to 5-3 overall and 1-2 in the NJAC, while the Scarlet Raptors fell to 5-4 and 0-3.
Ramapo, which leads the all-time series, 58-17, split the season series with Rutgers-Camden last year but has won 15 of its last 17 games against the Scarlet Raptors.
After taking a 4-0 lead to open the game and watching Rutgers-Camden come back to tie the score at 4-4, Ramapo took the lead for good on a pair of foul shots by senior guard Justin Bladen. By halftime, the Roadrunners led, 43-26, and Ramapo led by as many as 22 points (55-33 and 57-35) in the second half.
In addition to Gorman, Bladen and junior guard Elijah Barlow both scored 13 points, while senior center Jordan Myers notched 11 for Ramapo. Myers dished out a game-high five assists/\, while Bladen added four.

Ramapo held a 35-19 advantage off the boards.
The Roadrunners shot 22-for-43 (51.2 percent) from the floor and 21-for-27 (77.8) from the foul line, while Rutgers-Camden was 28-for-55 (50.9) from the floor and 23-for-28 (82.1) from the line.
The Scarlet Raptors play a 7 p.m. NJAC game at The College of New Jersey on Wednesday.
