CAMDEN, N.J. (Nov. 14, 2025) – The Rutgers University-Camden women's basketball team earned its first win of the season here Friday night as it defeated Baruch College, 69-42 in the nightcap of the Scarlet Raptors Classic.
Rutgers-Camden (1-2) opened the game with a 16-2 run and led by as many as 29 points (69-40) near the end of the game.
In the first game of the night, FDU-Florham defeated Rutgers University-Newark, 66-57.
In Saturday's games, Rutgers-Newark will face Baruch at 6 p.m. and Rutgers-Camden will battle FDU-Florham at 8 p.m.
FDU-Florham 66, Rutgers-Newark 57
The Devils raised their record to 3-0, taking a 15-12 lead after one quarter and expanding it to 40-22 at halftime. FDU-Florham led, 55-34, entering the final quarter before Rutgers-Newark (0-2) went on a 23-11 fourth-quarter run to close the final gap.
Junior guard/forward Shannon Tighe paced the winners with 17 points, while junior guard Gabrielle Walker added 10. The Devils placed 10 players in the scoring column.
Senior guard Sanaa Brodie paced the Scarlet Raiders with 19 points, while freshman guard Imani Mckenzie netted 11 and senior guard Quanajah Felder added 10.
Rutgers-Camden 69, Baruch 42
The Scarlet Raptors put the game away with a 24-6 opening-quarter run, led by nine points from sophomore guard
Hope Goodwine and a pair of treys for six points from junior guard
Gabriella Toledo.
Rutgers-Camden led 36-18 at halftime and 51-28 after three quarters.
Goodwine finished with 13 points, while sophomore forward
Courtney Edmundo had a double-double of 11 points and a game-high 12 rebounds, while adding three steals Toledo notched nine points, while both sophomore guard

Sophomore forward Lillianna Morales paced Baruh (0-4) with 12 points and freshman guard Lola De Luka added 10.
Rutgers-Camden shot 27-for-55 from the floor (49.1 percent) and Baruch went 17-for-57 (29.8). The Bearcats held a 37-36 edge off the boards.
