Goodwine earns All-NJAC Women's Basketball Honorable Mention
CAMDEN, NJ (Feb. 25, 2025) – The Rutgers University-Camden women's basketball team featured many talented newcomers this season and one of them captured post-season honors when the New Jersey Athletic Conference released its 2024-25 all-conference team today.
Freshman guard
Hope Goodwine (Sicklerville, NJ/Winslow Township) was named NJAC Honorable Mention and was one of only two freshmen on the 15-member NJAC post-season squads.

The Scarlet Raptors' point guard this season, Goodwine started all 25 games as Rutgers-Camden posted a 9-16 record for its most victories since a 12-win season in 2019-20. The Raptors had won only one game during the 2023-24 season and only seven combined in the previous four seasons.
Goodwine led the team with 91 assists and 41 steals, while finishing third with a scoring average of 9.7 points per game. She also averaged 3.8 rebounds per game and blocked three shots. She finished second on the team with 24 three-point field goals, including a red-hot 7-for-14 performance from beyond the arc in a game at Ramapo College Jan. 25. She scored her season high of 21 points in that contest, one of nine times she scored in double figures.
Goodwine dished off a season high of 10 assists against FDU-Florham (Nov. 17). barely missing a double-double when she finished with nine points. For the season she had 10 games with five or more assists. She barely missed another double-double on Jan. 11 at Kean University when she scored 14 points and had her season high of nine rebounds.
In addition to her NJAC Honorable Mention, Goodwine also was named both the NJAC Rookie of the Week and the Rutgers-Camden Raptor of the Week on January 27.
A 1,000-point scorer during her scholastic days at Winslow Township High School, Goodwine is a Business major at Rutgers-Camden.
