Lee helps Raptor golfers weather bad conditions at Lancaster Bible Invitational

LEBANON, Penn. (April 15, 2025) – The Rutgers University-Camden golf team endured all kinds of weather during the two-day trip to the Pull the Pin LBC Charger Spring Invitational Monday and Tuesday.
 
After a second day that included wind, rain and a tornado delay that blew down several trees, the Scarlet Raptors ended up placing fourth out of seven teams at the Par 72, 6,562-yard Lebanon Country Club.
 
Rutgers-Camden shot a two-day total of 324-328—652 in the event hosted by Lancaster Bible College.
 
Hood College's B team won the event (307-316—623), led by its medalist Kole Kohut 72-75—147.
 
Rutgers-Camden junior Pearse Lee earned Lancaster Bible College Spring Invitational First Team honors, carding a two-day total of 78-77—155. Junior Reid Walker carded a 77-85—162, while sophomore Santino Leone shot an 85-82—167. Junior Glenn Foley carded an 84-84—168 and freshman Andrew Slattery shot an 86-86—172.
 
Lee finished fifth out of 40 golfers, while Walker tied for 12th. Leone was 18th, Foley was 19th and Slattery placed 24th.
 
The Scarlet Raptors will return to play on Monday at the Franklin & Marshall Spring Invitational. It will be held at the Bent Creek Country Club in Lititz, Penn.
