Raptors have strong performance at Paul Donahue Invitational
CHESTER, Penn. (April 19, 2025) – Junior
Kayla Franklin led a trio of javelin throwers setting a PR as the Rutgers University-Camden track team turned in several fine performances on the final day of the Paul Donahue Invitational at Widener University.
Franklin finished third out of 26 athletes with a javelin throw of 33.01 meters, while senior
Francis Hill was 10th with a PR of 28.00 meters. Sophomore
Mya Cabanas Montero finished 16th with her own PR of 24.94 meters.

Dyheim Watson set a PR of 42.71 meters while finishing 11th of 28 in the hammer throw.
The Scarlet Raptors had numerous strong performances on the track, including freshman
Kristopher Ewell, who finished 36th of 109 in the men's 800 meters, posting a PR of 1:57.98.
In the women's 400 meters, sophomore
Sydnie Marshall finished 20th of 57 with a PR of 1:01.64, while freshman
A'Maya Stanard finished 36th (a PR of 1:05.80) and junior
Xochitl Bautista-Castelan was 38th with a PR of 1:06.65.
Stanard also finished 38th of 68 in the women's 100-meter dash with a PR of 13.57, while junior
Deleon Foster finished 40th with a PR of 13.61.
In the 95-runner field of the women's 200-meter dash, freshman
Rokhaya Dabo placed 60th with a PR of 28.66, while senior
Evelyn Macias Pilco was 69th (29.34).
The Scarlet Raptors will return to action Friday and Saturday at The College of New Jersey's Lions Invitational.
