CAMDEN, N.J. (April 25, 2025) – Rutgers University-Camden freshmen Grace Albert and Jilliane Jaugan have been named to the All-New Jersey Athletic Conference Women's Doubles Team after helping the Scarlet Raptors earn a berth in the NJAC semifinals this season.

Jaugan (Sewell, NJ/Gloucester County Institute of Technology) and Albert (Greenwich, NJ/Cumberland Regional) posted a 5-2 mark in doubles this spring, including a 2-2 record at first doubles and a 3-0 mark at second doubles. All but one of their doubles matches came during the spring season as Albert participated in only one tennis match during the fall semester while preparing for the winter season with the women's basketball program.

During the spring, the freshman duo posted a 3-1 record in regular-season NJAC competition, losing only to perennial conference champion The College of New Jersey (March 30) at first doubles. They defeated Stockton University (April 5) by a 6-3 decision at second doubles and won their matches at first doubles by 6-0 scores over both Kean University (April 12) and William Paterson University (April 16). In the NJAC semifinals at Stockton (April 23), their 6-1 victory at second doubles was the lone on-court victory for the Raptors, who ended up earning some forfeit victories in an eventual 4-3 loss.

Jaugan posted a stellar freshman year as she played first singles during both the fall and spring semesters, posting a 7-9 overall record at the top spot. She also posted a team-best 13-4 mark in doubles with four different partners, including a 7-4 record at first doubles, a 5-0 mark at second doubles and a 1-0 record in the third spot.

Jaugan was named the NJAC Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week on April 14.

Albert's lone competition during the fall came in a non-conference match against Stockton on October 11, when she won at fourth singles (6-3, 6-1) and combined with Jaugan for a 7-5 victory at second doubles. Overall during the scholastic year, Albert went 5-2 in doubles, all combining with Jaugan, and posted a 3-4 mark in singles (2-3 at third singles and 1-1 at fourth singles). She was 2-2 in NJAC singles play.

Albert also appeared in 11 games during basketball season, averaging 0.7 points and 1.3 rebounds, while adding five steals, one assist and one blocked shot. She had her highs of four points, two steals and one block against Cairn (Nov. 15), added three-rebound games against both Drew (Jan. 6) and William Paterson (Feb. 15) and dished off her one assist against Ramapo (Jan. 25).
