MEDFORD, N.J. (April 5, 2025) – The Stockton University women's tennis team won the first four singles matches to capture a close 4-3 victory over Rutgers University-Camden in a New Jersey Athletic Conference match here Saturday at the Arrowhead Tennis Club.
The win lifts the Ospreys to 5-1 overall and 3-0 in the NJAC, while Rutgers-Camden falls to 6-6 and 0-2.
The Scarlet Raptors earned the one point for doubles play by winning two of the three doubles matches against the short-handed Ospreys, who only had five players on the team. Junior co-captains

Ashton Sirko lost a 6-3 decision at first doubles, but freshmen
Grace Albert and
Jilliane Jaugan captured a 6-3 win at second doubles. Junior
Bryn Kelleher and freshman
Emma D'Amico won by forfeit at third doubles when Stockton couldn't field a team.
The Ospreys made up for their lost point in doubles by winning the top four singles matches. Jaugan dropped a 6-0, 6-0 decision at first singles, while Moore lost, 6-4, 6-1, at second singles. Kelleher was defeated at third singles, 6-2, 6-1, and Albert lost a close 7-6, 6-1 decision at fourth singles.
The Scarlet Raptors received a win at fifth singles as Sirko swept her opponent, 6-0, 6-0, and D'Amico didn't have an opponent at sixth singles to earn the Raptors a forfeit victory.
The Scarlet Raptors entertain Bryn Athyn College on Monday at 4 p.m. in a makeup match postponed from Friday.
