			EWING, N.J. (May 4, 2025) – Junior 
Jacob Dinerman won the conference title at 1,500 meters and junior 
Walter Pierce broke his own program record while finishing second in the decathlon as the Rutgers University-Camden competed on the final day of the New Jersey Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships here Sunday at The College of New Jersey.
 
The Rowan University men won the team competition with 313 points, while The College of New Jersey finished second at 228 points. In the women's competition, TCNJ edged Rowan for the title, 223.5 points to 220.
 
The Rutgers-Camden men finished sixth of nine teams with 28 points, while the Scarlet Raptor women were ninth with six points.
 
Dinerman captured the conference title at 1,500 meters, finishing first of 20 athletes (3:55.46). He also placed second of 28 athletes at 800 meters (a PR of 1:53.95), giving him NJAC First Team and NJAC Second Team honors, respectively. With his NJAC First Team recognition at 1,500 meters, Dinerman earned a rare NJAC First Team sweep across all three of his seasons this scholastic year. He was NJAC First Team in cross country last fall and earned NJAC First Team recognition during the winter track season by capturing the conference title in the mile. He also earned NJAC Second Team at 3,000 meters during indoor track season.
 
Pierce, meanwhile, collected 5,217 points to finish second out of seven athletes in the decathlon, capturing NJAC Second Team recognition. He broke his own program record of 4,784 points set at the 2024 NJAC Championships. Pierce finished third out of seven athletes in all five events he participated in on Sunday, setting a PR in the discus (27.73 M), pole vault (3.05 M) and javelin (29.61 M). He also ran the 110 hurdles in 16.99 and the 1,500-meter run in 5:19.64.
 
On Saturday, both junior 
Sydnie Marshall and freshman 
Kristopher Ewell qualified for the finals in the 400-meter dash, and both finished eighth in the finals on Sunday. Marshall posted a 1:01.46 clocking in the women's race, while Ewell ran the men's 400 in 49.88.
 
Sophomore 
Dyheim Watson and junior 
Kayla Franklin led the Scarlet Raptor throwers in the shot put and the discus. Franklin placed ninth of 25 in the women's shot put (10.89 meters) and 11th of 24 in the discus (30.20 meters), while senior 
Francis Hill placed 12th in the shot put (a PR of 10.19 meters). Watson finished 16th of 23 in the men's shot put (11.63 meters) and 12th of 22 in the discus (35.64 meters).
