Rutgers-Camden men's soccer schedules 4th Annual Brian Palangi Alumni Match
CAMDEN, N.J. (June 10, 2025) – The Rutgers University-Camden men's soccer team will hold its fourth annual Brian Palangi Alumni Match on Saturday, August 23, at 6 p.m.
Any interested alumni may register for the game at the
REGISTRATION link. Those attending will compete against the 2025 Rutgers-Camden team.
The Scarlet Raptors' annual alumni game is named in memory of former Rutgers-Camden star Brian Palangi, who passed away in a boating accident on the Delaware River. Palangi was a two-year star centerback for the Scarlet Raptors in 2017 and 2018 after a stellar career with Rowan College at Gloucester County, where he was honored as the NJCAA Division III Player of the Year in 2016. During his first year at Rutgers-Camden, Palangi earned a berth on the ECAC All-Tournament Team. As a senior captain in 2018, he was named to the All-New Jersey Athletic Conference Second Team, captured NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honors on October 8 and was a member of the Cialella Soccer Classic All-Tournament Team.
