CAMDEN, N.J. (Sept. 10, 2025) – Junior forward Sophie Kilbride scored a pair of first-half goals to lead the Washington College women's soccer team over Rutgers University-Camden, 2-0, in a non-conference game here Wednesday night.
The Shorewomen improved to 3-1-1, giving Head Coach Tom Reilly his 50th win with the program. The Scarlet Raptors fell to 0-2-2.
Washington College, based in Chestertown, Maryland, leads its all-time series against Rutgers-Camden, 7-0-2.
Kilbride notched the game's first goal at 5:12 on a header from the left side of the box off a cross from junior back Mackenzie Coupe. She added an unassisted goal in the 14th minute for her team-leading third tally of the season.
Washington College held a 12-11 edge in shots and a 6-1 advantage in corner kicks in the game. Junior goalie Olivia Allen made six saves to post the shutout for the Shorewomen, while Raptor freshman keeper
Giselle Lizardi had five saves.
The Scarlet Raptors play another home game on Saturday when they face Muhlenberg College at 1 p.m.
