PITMAN, N.J. – Five members of the Rutgers-Camden women's soccer team were named to the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) All-Conference team on Tuesday morning.
Each player's coaches nominated them, then voted on the team but could not vote for their own players.
Junior midfielder Ava Stowell was named to the first team, the lone first-team selection. Four other players were named Honorable Mention: senior forward Brianne Reeves, senior midfielder Chloe Ludwick, junior defender Ashlee Schlagenhaft, and sophomore defender Talia Thomasson were all selected by the coaches in the NJAC.
Stowell has started and played in all 17 matches this season. She is second on the team in points with 11 and has a team-best three assists. She had a season-best two goals against William Paterson back on October 7.
Reeves, who was an Honorable Mention selection in 2024, led the team in goals with six and points with 14. She had two goals against Neumann back on September 23. She also appeared and started in all 17 matches.
Ludwick, who played in 16 matches and started 14, scored one goal this season: the game-winner on Opening Day against Stevenson.
Schlagenhaft and Thomasson both started and played in all 17 matches this season. Both were part of a defensive unit that pitched seven shutouts this season and held opponents to a 0.82 GAA. Schlangenhaft has one assist, while Thomasson has two this season.
Rutgers-Camden is currently 9-5-3 and will play The College of New Jersey on Wednesday in the NJAC semifinals.
