CAMDEN, N.J. (Feb. 11, 2026) – After watching a nine-point lead fade into a nine-point deficit in the second half here Wednesday night, the Rutgers University-Camden men's basketball team rolled up its sleeves and went to work with a comeback of its own.
As a result, the Scarlet Raptors notched one of their biggest wins of the year, snapped a four-game losing streak and ended a three-game skid against Stockton University with a 74-68 victory in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game.
The win evens the Raptors' record at 11-11 overall and lifts Rutgers-Camden to 6-10 in NJAC play. Stockton, which had outlasted Rutgers-Camden 78-73, earlier in the season in Galloway, falls to 13-10 overall and 10-6 in conference play.
The Scarlet Raptors built a 35-31 halftime lead and increased that margin to nine points (42-33 and 44-35) early in the second half. The Ospreys, however, went on a 22-4 run to jump ahead, 57-48, midway through the half.

Isaiah Waters put an exclamation point on the comeback with a huge three-pointer as the Raptors regained the lead, 67-65. After Stockton tied the game at 67-67, sophomore guard
Ryan Senft hit a layup to give the Raptors the lead for good, 69-67. A foul shot by freshman forward
Makai Crawford and two foul shots apiece from senior guard
Eric Benjamin and Senft closed out the Raptors' comeback.
Downs finished with another huge game as he scored 31 points, his third 30-point game of the season, to raise his career scoring total to 1,626 points. Benjamin netted 15 points, Waters canned a career-high 13 points and Senft added 12.
Crawford led the Raptors with a game-high nine rebounds, while Senft had eight.
Stockton received 16 points from junior guard Eriq Campbell. Junior guard Justin Harper scored 14, junior guard Devon Johnson netted 11 and senior forward Tayvon Gaither added 10.
Rutgers-Camden shot 25-for-44 from the floor (56.8 percent) and 17-for-22 (77.3) from the foul line, while Stocked went 23-for-54 (42.6) and 18-for-28 (64.3), respectively. The Scarlet Raptors held a 31-29 edge in rebounds.
Rutgers-Camden plays a 3 p.m. NJAC game on Saturday at William Paterson University.
