Raptor trio competes at Widener Indoor Classic

PHILADELPHIA, Penn. (Feb. 14, 2026) – A trio of Rutgers University-Camden men competed here Saturday on the second day of the Widener Indoor Classic, held at the University of Pennsylvania.
 
Junior Jacob Dinerman competed in the 800-meter run, setting a PR of 1:54.10 while finishing third out of 45 athletes.
 
In the men's high jump, freshmen Jayden Deleon and Abdulbasit Shodolu were part of the 27-man field. Deleon finished eighth with a jump of 2.00 meters, while Shodolu didn't clear a height.
 
The full Rutgers-Camden track team will swing back into action next weekend when the New Jersey Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held at the University of Pennsylvania on Saturday and Sunday.
