CAMDEN, N.J. (Feb. 25, 2026) – It's been an amazing season for Rutgers University-Camden forward Courtney Edmundo, and the Scarlet Raptors' sophomore isn't finished adding to her accomplishments.

Edmundo was named to the New Jersey Athletic Conference Women's Basketball First Team when the NJAC announced its season honors today. She becomes the Raptors' first NJAC First Team player since Kamari Talley, who earned that honor and was named the NJAC Player of the Year during the 2015-16 season.

Edmundo's all-around play has sparked the Scarlet Raptors to a 14-12 record and a berth in their first NJAC playoff semifinal game since Rutgers-Camden won its lone conference championship during the 2002-03 season. The Scarlet Raptors will play a 6 p.m. semifinal game at The College of New Jersey on Thursday night.

She captured NJAC Player of the Week honors three times (Jan. 26, Feb. 9 and Feb. 23) and added a pair of NJAC Defensive Player of the Week awards (Nov. 17 and Feb. 2).

Edmundo also won three honors as Rutgers-Camden's Raptor of the Week (Dec. 1, Feb. 2 and Feb. 9).

During her freshman season in 2024-25, Edmundo was a four-time NJAC Rookie of the Week (Nov. 11, Nov. 25, Feb. 10 and Feb. 24), was named Rutgers-Camden's Honorable Mention at the John K. Adams Tip-Off Classic (Nov. 15-17) and collected her first Raptor of the Week honor (Nov. 18).

Over her 51 career games at Rutgers-Camden, Edmundo is averaging 13.6 points and 9.6 rebounds. She is well on her way to a 1,000-point milestone, bringing 692 points into Thursday's NJAC semifinal game.
