UNION, N.J. (Feb. 7, 2026) – Sophomore forward
Courtney Edmundo posted her eighth straight double-double and her 13th of the year to power the Rutgers University-Camden women's basketball team over Kean University, 76-61, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game here Saturday afternoon.
The win lifts the Scarlet Raptors to 12-10 overall and 9-6 in the NJAC, marking their most overall wins since they posted a 12-13 record during the 2019-20 season. Their nine conference victories are the most since they went 11-8 during the 2018-19 season.
Kean falls to 2-17 overall and 2-13 in the NJAC as Rutgers-Camden swept the two-game season series. The Cougars still lead the all-time series, 58-25.
After trailing early, 4-2, Rutgers-Camden went on a nine-point run and took the lead for good at 6-4 on a layup by Edmundo. By halftime the Scarlet Raptors held a 37-24 lead and Edmundo already had her eighth straight double-double and 13th of the season with 11 points and 14 rebounds. She finished the game with 20 points and a career-high 20 rebounds, while adding three assists, three blocked shots and a career-high tying five steals. Her previous high of 17 rebounds was accomplished on Wednesday night at The College of New Jersey. In two games this week, Edmundo collected 46 points and 37 rebounds.

Tamyia Collier netted 14 points, junior guard
Gabriella Toledo netted 12 and junior guard/forward
Tamea El added 10.
Kean was led by 19 points from senior guard Maya Edwards. The Cougars also received 13 points from junior guard/forward Cara McCoy, 12 from sophomore guard/forward Peyton Smith and 10 from freshman forward Makaila Desire.
Rutgers-Camden shot 30-for-64 (46.9 percent) from the floor and 6-for-8 (75.0) from the foul line. Kean shot 26-for-64 (40.6) from the floor and 4-for-7 (57.1) from the foul line.
Rutgers-Camden held a 40-33 advantage off the boards. Both teams made 22 turnovers.
Rutgers-Camden returns to NJAC action on Wednesday when it hosts Stockton University at 6 p.m. Prior to the game, the Scarlet Raptors will hold Senior Night to honor guard
