Deleon breaks his own high jump program mark at TCNJ Last Chance Meet
EWING, N.J. (March 1, 2026) – Rutgers University-Camden freshman
Jayden Deleon broke his own program record in the high jump as he competed here Sunday at the TCNJ Last Chance Meet.
Deleon finished second of eight athletes with a high jump of 2.09 meters, while fellow freshman
Abdulbasit Shodolu finished fifth with a high jump of 1.88 meters.
Deleon's jump broke his own program mark of 2.05 meters, set at the FastTrack Season Opener on December 5, 2025 and tied a week later at the Wagner Seahawk Shootout on December 12.
Deleon's mark is the
fourth-best high jump in Division III this season.
