Raptor golfers place second at Kean Invitational
KENILWORTH, N.J. (April 17, 2026) – The Rutgers University-Camden golf team continued its recent strong play as it finished second out of six teams here Friday at the Kean Invitational.
The invitational was held at the Par 71 Galloping Hill Golf Course in Kenilworth.
Rutgers-Camden shot a 306 team score to finish second to host Kean University, which carded a 289. The Scarlet Raptors have won two of their last four invitationals and finished second in the other two.
Kean's Patrick Murray and Logan Perrone tied for the lead with an even-par 71, followed by the Cougars' Sean Dunn with a 72. Rutgers-Camden senior
Reid Walker finished fourth in the field of 32 golfers, carding a 73.
Raptor senior
Pearse Lee finished fifth overall with a 74, while freshman
Nick Seaver carded a 77 to finish eighth. Senior
Ryan Macuch and sophomore
Andrew Slattery finished 16th and 17th, respectively, with rounds of 81 and 82. Freshman
Noah Eichenbaum tied for 18th place with an 83.
Rutgers-Camden will close the regular season by competing in the two-day F&M Spring Invitational on Sunday and Monday. The event, hosted by Franklin & Marshall College, will be held at the Bent Creek Country Club in Lititz, Pennsylvania.
