Seaver leads Scarlet Raptors on first day of Franklin & Marshall Spring Invitational

LITITZ, Penn. (April 19, 2026) – Freshman Nick Seaver shot a 7-over par 78 to lead the Rutgers University-Camden golf team on the first day of the Franklin & Marshall Spring Invitational here Sunday.
 
The Scarlet Raptors posted a 315 team score to find themselves in fifth place at the 15-team event.
 
Host Franklin & Marshall's A team shot an even-par 284 to lead the event, led by Max Silverman, who shot a 5-under par 66 on the invitational's first day. The Diplomats' B team shot a 308 to stand in second after the first day. The Franklin & Marshall Spring Invitational concludes on Monday at the Par 71 Bent Creek Country Club.
 
Following Seaver's round of 78, a trio of Scarlet Raptors carded a 79: seniors Pearse Lee and Reid Walker, and sophomore Andrew Slattery. Senior Ryan Macuch rounded out the Raptors' five-man team with an 89.
 
Rutgers-Camden will return to the Bent Creek Country Club on Monday for the final round of the F&M Spring Invitational.
