Gabby Albert and
Bella Albert (Greenwich, NJ/Cumberland Regional) may be freshmen on the collegiate tennis scene, but the twin sisters don't play like rookies on the tennis court.
The two Rutgers University-Camden players were named to the All-New Jersey Athletic Conference Women's Tennis team when the NJAC announced its yearly honors today.

The sisters, who combine for the Scarlet Raptors' top doubles team, were honored among the All-Conference Doubles teams, while
Gabby Albert was also named on the All-Conference Singles team.
The two freshmen, who joined their sophomore sister
Grace Albert on the Rutgers-Camden women's tennis team this season, helped the Scarlet Raptors post a 12-4 overall record, including a 3-1 mark in NJAC play. They have helped the team earn its first-ever berth in the NJAC final, where Rutgers-Camden will play at perennial conference champion The College of New Jersey on Saturday.
The second-seeded Scarlet Raptors eliminated third-seeded Kean University, 4-0, in a conference semifinal match on Wednesday night, with Gabby and Bella combining for a 6-2 victory at first doubles, while Bella won her match at fourth singles, 6-0, 6-1. Gabby was on her way to a win at first singles when the Raptors clinched the victory, leaving her match unfinished despite a 6-2, 3-0 lead.
Gabby posted a 9-6 dual match record at first singles this year, including a 2-2 mark in conference play during the regular season. She was on the verge of avenging one of those defeats against Kean when the semifinal match was decided. Gabby's overall singles mark was 9-7, including a loss at the King's College Invitational last fall.
Bella, meanwhile, sports a 14-2 dual match record this season, going 12-2 at fourth singles and 2-0 at the third flight. She went 3-1 during the NJAC regular season competition and went 2-1 at fourth singles at the King's College Invitational for an overall record of 16-3.
On April 13, Gabby was named the NJAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week, while Bella captured NJAC Rookie of the Week honors the same day.
As the Raptors' top doubles team, the sisters combined for a 12-4 dual match record, going 11-4 at first doubles and 1-0 at second doubles. They were 0-1 at the King's College Invitational on Sept. 7.
Both sisters are Nursing majors at Rutgers-Camden who were four-year tennis letterwinners at Cumberland Regional High School. Bella added four basketball letters, while Gabby lettered for three years in basketball.
The Alberts are the daughters of Rebecca Thompson-Albert and Gary Albert II of Greenwich.
