Scarlet Raptors' Leone captures United East All-Sportsmanship honor
CAMDEN, N.J. (May 9, 2026) – Rutgers University-Camden junior
Santino Leone was honored by the United East Conference when the All-Conference Sportsmanship Team was announced Friday.
Leone was a member on the eight-man 2026 United East All-Sportsmanship Team. It was the second straight year he earned a berth on the all-conference sportsmanship team.
The Scarlet Raptors' team captain for the second straight year, Leone averaged 77.9 in his seven rounds this scholastic year. A three-year member of the Rutgers-Camden golf team, Leone owns an average of 81.1 in 36 career rounds.
Leone has been a two-time medalist at Rutgers-Camden's Scarlet Raptor Invitational, once on Oct. 27, 2025 and once on April 14, 2026. He earned United East Conference Second Team honors in 2025 and was named the team's Most Dedicated Player in both 2024 and 2025. He also was named the Raptor of the Week on Oct. 14, 2024.
A Business Management major, Leone is a Dean's List student and a four-time member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director's Honor Roll. He also was named a United East Conference Scholar Athlete for the 2023-24 scholastic year.
