CAMDEN, NJ – The 2026-27 athletic season gets off to a roaring start this week for Rutgers-Camden, with several teams beginning competition.

Tuesday, September 1
Women's Soccer at Stevenson, 4 p.m.
Men's Soccer at PSU-Abington, 4 p.m.
Women's Soccer begins its schedule with the back end of a home-and-home with the Mustangs. Last season, Stevenson defeated the Scarlet Raptors 4-1 in New Jersey.
Men's Soccer crosses the bridge to take on PSU-Abington.
Thursday, September 3
Women's Volleyball vs. Widener, 7 p.m.
Women's Volleyball takes flight against local foe Widener. Last season, RUC scored its first win over Widener in eight tries, battling the Pride to a 3-2 win.
Friday, September 4
Men's Tennis vs. Lebanon Valley, 4 p.m.
Men's Tennis begins its 2026-27 season by meeting the Flying Dutchmen for the first time.
Cialella Soccer Classic
Haverford vs. Stockton, 4 p.m.
Men's Soccer vs. Ursinus, 7 p.m.
Women's Volleyball vs. Immaculata (at DeSales), 5 p.m.
Women's Volleyball heads to DeSales for a weekend affair at the DeSales University Invitational. The Scarlet Raptors are a perfect 10-0 against Immaculata, and they will face Penn College – out of the United East – for the first time. The Scarlet Raptors took the host Bulldogs to five sets last season.
Named for former Rutgers-Camden athlete, coach, and Athletic Director Edward Cialella, the 25
th version of the Cialella Soccer Classic features Haverford, Stockton and Ursinus. The Scarlet Raptors will be meeting Ursinus for the first time ever, while playing Haverford for the 13
th time. The Fords and Scarlet Raptors battled to a 0-0 stalemate last season.
Saturday, September 5
Women's Tennis at King's College Invitational, 9 a.m.
Cross Country at Georgian Court Pine Barrons Challenge, 2 p.m. (W)/2:45 p.m.(M)
Women's Volleyball vs. Penn College (Noon); at DeSales (4 p.m.)
Cialella Soccer Classic
Women's Soccer vs. The Catholic University of America, 3 p.m.
Men's Soccer vs. Haverford, 7 p.m.
Women's Soccer closes its weekend by hosting The Catholic University of America out of the Landmark Conference. The two teams are meeting for the first time since 2013.
Men's Soccer hosts Haverford as part of the Cialella Soccer Classic and the second annual Naumenko Night. The match honors former men's soccer goalkeeper Julian Naumenko, who tragically passed away in January 2015.
Cross Country opens its season at Georgian Court, while Women's Tennis heads to King's for a weekend affair.
