The calendar turns to October this week as Rutgers-Camden Athletics continues a busy fall schedule. Women's volleyball plays four matches, including two NJAC contests, while both soccer teams face Stockton and New Paltz. Cross Country travels to the Paul Short Invitational, and the women's tennis team continues its fall schedule.
Tuesday, September 29:
Women's Volleyball vs. Ramapo (NJAC contest), 7 p.m.
Women's Volleyball continues NJAC play Tuesday when the Scarlet Raptors host Ramapo at the Athletic and Fitness Center. Ramapo leads the series 15-5 as Rutgers-Camden will look to avenge a five-set loss at Ramapo last season. The Scarlet Raptors won the last meeting in Camden, sweeping the Roadrunners, 3-0, in 2024.
Wednesday, September 30:
Men's Soccer at Stockton (NJAC contest), 7 p.m.
Women's Soccer vs. Stockton (NJAC contest), 7 p.m.
Both soccer teams take on Stockton Wednesday in NJAC action. The Rutgers-Camden men are 8-8-4 against the Ospreys since 2010, with Stockton winning the last three meetings. The Ospreys earned a 4-1 win in Camden last season.
Women's Soccer hosts Stockton after earning a 1-0 road victory over the Ospreys last season. The win was the Scarlet Raptors' second in their last three trips to Stockton.
Thursday, October 1:
Women's Volleyball at Kean (NJAC contest), 7 p.m.
Women's Volleyball plays its second NJAC match in three days when the Scarlet Raptors travel to Union to face Kean. It will be the first of three road matches for Rutgers-Camden to close out the week.
Friday, October 2:
Cross Country at Paul Short Invitational, Bethlehem, Pa., 3:30/4:15 p.m.
Women's Tennis at New Paltz (NJAC contest), 3:30 p.m.
Men's and Women's Cross Country return to action at the Paul Short Invitational, hosted by Lehigh University in Bethlehem. The meet is the Scarlet Raptors' fourth competition of the fall. Both teams will face in the Green Race.
Women's Tennis travels to New York for a Friday afternoon match against New Paltz before returning home Saturday to face DeSales.
Saturday, October 3:
Women's Tennis vs. DeSales, 11 a.m.
Women's Volleyball at Alvernia, 11 a.m.
Women's Volleyball vs. Delaware Valley (at Alvernia), 1 p.m.
Women's Soccer vs. New Paltz (NJAC contest), 1 p.m.
Men's Soccer at New Paltz (NJAC contest), 2 p.m.
Women's Tennis hosts DeSales at Rutgers-Camden Community Park. Women's Tennis is 2-0 all-time against the Bulldogs and swept last season's match, 7-0.
Women's Volleyball travels to Reading, Pa., for a pair of matches, facing host Alvernia at 11 a.m. before taking on Delaware Valley at 1 p.m.
Women's Soccer hosts New Paltz at the Camden Athletic Complex at 1 p.m., while Men's Soccer travels to New Paltz for a 2 p.m. match to close out the week's schedule. This is the first time the Scarlet Raptors will take on New Paltz as a conference member.
