Mike Ryan has already set numerous program standards as he heads into the senior season of his illustrious Rutgers-Camden career. The 2015 campaign will only serve to raise the bar for all Scarlet Raptors who follow.

Heading into his final season, Ryan is the program’s all-time leader in goals (57) and points (127), while tying for the career lead in game-winning goals (19). His 285 shots are second on the career list, 17 shy of the record, and he has played in 72 career games, needing 25 this season to tie another program mark.

With 127 career points, Ryan also ranks 17th on the all-time New Jersey Athletic Conference scoring list, 57 points behind the leader Fred Guiran (74 goals, 36 assists at Kean University from 1990-92). Ryan is 45 points shy of tying for second place on the NJAC list with Greg Boyle (71 goals and 30 assists at Rowan from 1984-87).

Among his numerous career accomplishments, Ryan has earned three NJAC First Team honors and is a two-time All-American.

Soccer 2014: Started all 24 of his games, tied for the seventh-highest single-season total of starts in program history…Led team in goals (18), game-winning goals (6) and points (40), while finishing fourth in assists (4)…NJAC First Team…ECAC Division III Metro Region First Team…Cialella Soccer Classic All-Tournament Team and Offensive MVP (Sept. 6-7)…NJAC Offensive Player of the Week (Nov. 17)…Named Most Outstanding Player of the ECAC Div. III Metro/Upstate Men’s Soccer Championship after scoring four of the Raptors’ five goals as Rutgers-Camden swept three games to win the title (Nov. 12-16)…Notched both goals in the Raptors’ 2-1 ECAC championship-game win over Stockton (Nov. 16), including the game winner with 10:27 remaining in regulation…Named to the NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division III Men’s All-South Atlantic Region Second Team…His 18 goals scored is the third-highest single-season mark in program history, four shy of his program mark set in 2013…His 40 points scored is the fourth-best season mark at Rutgers-Camden, eight shy of his 2013 program record…He also had 39 points in 2012 for the fifth-best season mark, giving him three of the top five single-season point totals in program history…Scored goals in five consecutive games (Oct. 6-22), marking the second time in his career he has compiled a five-game goal-scoring streak, the third-longest string in program history…Had two five-game point-scoring streaks (Oct. 6-22 and Nov. 4-16), tied for the fifth-longest strings in program history, three shy of his own program mark set in 2012 (Oct. 10-Nov. 10)…Collected his second career hat trick with three goals, including the game winner, in a 4-0 victory over Susquehanna University (Sept. 7)…Also had game-winning goals against Ramapo College (a 2-0 win Oct. 11), Swarthmore (2-0, Oct. 22), Rutgers-Newark (3-1, Nov. 4) and in back-to-back ECAC games against New York University (1-0, Nov. 15 in the semifinals) and Stockton (2-1, Nov. 16, in the title game)…Notched five multiple-goal games, giving him 14 for his career…In addition to his hat trick and his two goals against Stockton in the ECAC title game, had two-goal games against Haverford College (Oct. 6, adding an assist for five points), Swarthmore College (Oct. 22) and Rutgers University-Newark (Nov. 4)…Named as Rutgers-Camden’s Raptor of the Week on September 8, October 20 and in back-to-back weeks November 10 and 17…Had six games with three or more points…Scored program record-setting 48th career goal on a second-half penalty kick during a 3-0 win over The College of New Jersey (Oct. 16).
