Biography
A transfer from Caldwell University, Wyatt Polk joins the Rutgers-Camden basketball program for his final season of collegiate eligibility. He needs only 62 points to reach the 1,000-point plateau for his combined collegiate career.
Pre-Rutgers: Three-year basketball starter at Caldwell University…Scored 938 points in 79 career games (54 starts) for an 11.9 average…Also had 348 career rebounds (4.4 rpg), 93 assists, 84 steals and 17 blocked shots…As a junior during the 2013-14 season, notched 411 points while starting all 29 games for Caldwell, averaging 14.2 points…Collected his season high of 28 points against Concordia (Dec. 18)…As a freshman in 2011-12, played in 24 games, starting one, averaging 6.4 points…Scored 33 on 15-of-21 shooting from the field in a win over Nyack (Jan. 24)…During his sophomore season in 2012-13, averaged 14.3 points and 5.5 rebounds while starting 24 of his 26 games…Added 51 assists and 35 steals…Named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Player of the Week Dec. 18 after scoring 33 points against Felician (Dec. 15), becoming only the eighth player in program history to record two or more 30-point games in his career.
