Rutgers-Camden Athletics

A transfer from Camden County College, Noah McFarlane played his first season of Rutgers-Camden basketball during the 2015-16 campaign. A member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the Spring 2016 semester, McFarlane returns for his final season of collegiate eligibility this winter.
 
Basketball 2015-16: Played in 24 games, starting six…Averaged 3.4 points and 3.9 rebounds…Tied for second on the team with seven blocked shots and added three steals…Shot .569 (33-for-58) from the floor and .577 (15-for-26) from the line…After making his Raptor debut by playing two minutes in the season opener at Penn State-Harrisburg (Nov. 14), played 15 minutes the next day in the consolation game of the Penn State-Harrisburg Tip-Off Tournament against Roanoke College, scoring 10 points, grabbing six rebounds and adding one blocked shot…Made his first Rutgers-Camden start against Rowan University (Dec. 2), scoring five points and adding four rebounds…Collected 11 points and seven rebounds (six off the defensive glass) against William Paterson University (Dec. 19)…Turned in a 16-rebound game – seven offensive and nine defensive – at Ramapo College (Feb. 13), while adding six points.
 
Pre-Rutgers: Played basketball for two seasons at Camden County College during the 2012-13 and 2013-14 scholastic years.
 
High School: Graduated from Camden Catholic High School in 2011…Basketball letterman for Coach Jim Crawford.
 
Personal: Born February 22, 1992…Loves drawing and playing basketball…Animation major at Rutgers-Camden who hopes to create his own cartoon and open up his own art studio…Named to the inaugural Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll, which was released following the 2015 Fall semester…Noah is the son of Kenneth and Celestine McFarlane of Camden.
