Rutgers-Camden Athletics

A transfer from Cumberland County College, Jovan Childers joins the Rutgers-Camden women’s basketball program this season.
 
Pre-Rutgers: Earned one basketball letter apiece at Neumann University (2013-14 season) and at Cumberland County College (2014-15)…Played in seven games at Neumann during her freshman season, averaging 2.1 points and 2.0 rebounds, while adding four assists and four steals…During her sophomore year at Cumberland County College, played in 28 games, starting all 28…Scored 497 points to finish 17th nationally in Division III, while averaging 17.8 points (38th)…Notched 198 rebounds for a 7.1 average…Finished 16th in Division III in assists (129) and 59th in steals (62)…Shot 188-for-435 from the floor (.432)…In her two collegiate seasons combined, scored 512 points.
