One of the all-time great volleyball players in Rutgers-Camden history, Jordan Erskine completed her four-year collegiate career on the court during the 2019 fall season. She also has earned letters with the Scarlet Raptors’ indoor and outdoor track programs.

Erskine finished her four-year Raptor volleyball career with 2,335 total attacks (fifth on the program’s career list), 142 blocks (seventh), 762 kills (ninth), 2.05 kills per set (ninth), 371 sets played (10th), 111 matches played (tied for 10th) and a .142 hitting percentage (17th among all players with 50 or more kills).

As a freshman, Erskine became the first person in Rutgers-Camden’s indoor track program history to compete in the pentathlon, finishing second of four competitors and establishing the old school record with 2,171 points at the Widener Field Meet on Jan. 27. She was named the MVP Field Athlete for the Women’s Indoor/Outdoor programs as a freshman.

A member of Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), Erskine also has captured six berths on the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

Volleyball 2019: Served as one of the team’s tri-captains…Competed in all 28 matches and 96 sets, finishing second on the team in kills (214), total attacks (676) and blocks (28), while adding 38 digs and three assists…Had a .143 hitting percentage…Notched double-digit kills on five occasions, including 18 against Gwynedd Mercy University (Oct. 19) and 16 against Penn State-Abington (Sept. 11) in a pair of four-set matches…Hit .394 in the Penn State-Abington match (16 kills and three errors in 33 total attempts)…Had eight matches hitting over .300, including a high of .429 (11 kills, two errors, 21 attempts) against William Paterson University (Oct. 1)…Also hit .400 (8-2-15) against Wilkes University (Sept. 21)…Had a high of five digs against Widener University (Sept. 14)…Had four blocks (three solo, one assisted) in the Penn State-Abington match.

Indoor Track 2018-19: Competed in three meets in the high jump, notching a season-best 1.41 meters to tie for eighth of 10 at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Feb. 18)…Opened the season finishing sixth of eight in the high jump (1.40 meters) at the Seahawk Shootout (Dec. 7)…Placed eighth of 10 in the high jump (1.33 meters) at the Frank Colden Invitational (Feb. 2).

Volleyball 2018: Competed in 56 sets over 18 matches…Collected 109 kills (fifth on the team) and was third on the Raptors in kills per set (1.95)…Added 29 digs and 17 blocks…Had 347 total attacks, the fourth-highest total on the team…Produced four matches with double-digit kills, including 14 against Ramapo College (Oct. 16), 12 against Rowan University (Oct. 9) and 10 apiece against DeSales University (Aug. 31) and New Jersey City University (Oct. 23)…Added nine kills against Stevenson University (Sept. 15)…Collected three blocks (one solo, two assisted) against St. Joseph’s-Long Island (Oct. 13).

Outdoor Track 2018: Threw the javelin at nine outdoor meets, culminating in the ECAC Div. III Outdoor Track & Field Championships (May 16), where she finished 10th of 20 athletes with a throw of 31.01 meters…In her eight meets leading up to the ECAC event, she threw ECAC-qualifying distances seven times, highlighted by a PR of 36.57 meters at the Oscar Moore Open (April 6), when she finished first in a 19-athlete javelin field…Opened the season at the Delaware Classic, finishing fifth of 16 throwers (31.37 meters) on March 24…Placed fourth of 19 in the javelin (34.18 meters) at the Stockton Invitational (March 31) and was sixth of 24 at Gwynedd Mercy’s Mid-Week Twilight Invitational (April 11) with a throw of 31.95 meters…At the Osprey Open (April 13), finished fifth of 24 (32.89 meters) and was 12th of 26 with a throw of 31.59 meters at the Widener Invitational (April 21)…Her throw of 29.63 meters at the Lions Invitational (April 27) was the only non-ECAC qualifier she threw all spring, although she still finished 11th of 30 athletes…Bounced back to place ninth of 17 in the javelin with a throw of 33.15 meters at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships (May 5).

Indoor Track 2017-18: Participated in the high jump at five meets, including the Widener Field Meet (Feb. 26), when she competed in the pentathlon for the second straight year, finishing sixth of 12 athletes with 2,062 points…At that pentathlon she set PR marks of 9.81 in the 55-meter hurdles (placing fifth of 12 athletes), 8.76 meters in the shot put (second of 12) and 1.46 meters in the high jump (second of 12)…Also finished 11th of 12 in the long jump (3.87 meters) and 12th of 12 in the 800-meter run (3:28.92)…At the TCNJ Winter Opener (Dec. 2), finished sixth of six in the high jump (1.45 meters)…Tied for eighth of 12 in the high jump (1.40 meters) at the Collegeville Classic (Jan. 20) and was eighth of 16 in the event at the Frank Colden Classic (Feb. 3) with a 1.42-meter jump…Closed her season at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships (Feb. 19), placing 13th of 14 in the high jump (1.40 meters) and 14th of 15 in the 60-meter hurdles (10.31).

Volleyball 2017: Finished third on the team in sets (114) and tied for the club lead by playing in all 33 matches as Rutgers-Camden reached the ECAC tournament for the third straight year…Finished third on the team in kills (219) and kills per set (1.92) and compiled a .154 hitting percentage…Added 51 blocks (five solo, 46 assisted) to finish second on the club in total blocks (51) and blocks per set (0.45)…Added 44 digs (0.39 per set), four assists (0.04) and one service ace (0.01)…Had four matches with double-digit kills, including 14 kills and a .257 hitting percentage against Marywood University (Oct. 21)…Also notched 12 kills against Wesley College and 11 against Wilkes University during a tri-match Sept. 23…Notched 11 kills in a rematch against Wilkes (Oct. 28)…Had a .600 hitting percentage (six kills, no errors in 10 attempts) against Gwynedd-Mercy University (Oct. 13) and a .375 (6-0-16) percentage against Penn State-Berks (Oct. 21)…Notched a season high of seven blocks (one solo, six assisted) against Widener University and a high of seven digs against Haverford College, both coming in on Sept. 15 during the first day of Neumann University’s Knights Invitational…Had five or more kills in 28 of her 33 matches.

Outdoor Track 2017: Threw the javelin in five outdoor meets, including the season-opening Golden Rams Invitational (March 25), where she set her personal-best mark of 32.05 meters to finish fifth of 17…Placed fifth of 31 in the javelin (31.95 meters) at the Gwynedd Mercy Mid-Week Twi-Light Invitational (April 12)…Javelin throw of 27.57 meters placed her 21st of 29 at the Widener Invitational (April 22)…Tied for 17th of 40 javelin throwers (31.50 meters) at the Lions Invitational (April 28)…Finished ninth of 17 with a javelin throw of 31.15 meters at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships (May 6).

Indoor Track 2016-17: Competed in six meets in a variety of both track and field events…Made an impressive collegiate track debut with a busy day at the season-opening Bow-Tie Classic (Dec. 3), finishing fourth of seven in the high jump (1.37 meters), 19th of 27 in the shot put (8.47 meters) and setting a personal best of 9.95 in the 60-meter hurdles to qualify third of 23…In the 60-meter hurdles finals, finished fourth of 11 in a 10.20 clocking…At the Wagner Seahawk Shootout (Dec. 9), placed 10th of 17 in the 60-meter hurdles (10.36), 25th of 37 in the shot put (a personal best of 8.58 meters) and tied for fifth of six in the high jump (1.45 meters, another personal best)…Opened the second semester at the Collegeville Classic (Jan. 21), placing 24th of 40 in the 60-meter hurdles (10.99) and 14th of 15 in the high jump (1.35 meters)…In her pentathlon performance at the Widener Field Meet (Jan. 27), rolled up 2,171 points and a second-place finish as she finished first of four in the 60-meter hurdles (10.62), second of four in the high jump (1.44 meters), third of four in both the shot put (8.39 meters) and long jump (4.29 meters) and fourth of four in the 800-meter run (3:18.33)…Anchored the 4x200 relay team at the St. Joseph’s College Invitational (Feb. 11), which finished 10th of 12 and set a short-lived program record of 1:58.36, which was broken at the NJAC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Feb. 20…Also at St. Joseph’s, finished 18th of 26 in the 60-meter hurdles (10.62) and tied for 14th of 20 in the high jump (1.40 meters)…In the NJAC meet, placed 14th of 18 in the 60-meter hurdles (10.34).

Volleyball 2016: Competed in all 32 matches for the Scarlet Raptors, playing in 109 sets…Led the team with 220 kills and an average of 2.02 kills per set…Finished third in overall blocks (46) and second in block assists (36)…Hit .142 with eight assists, 48 digs and 10 solo blocks…Named Rutgers-Camden’s Raptor of the Week on Sept. 26…Compiled double-digit kills in seven matches, with a high of 13 in three-set matches against both Baruch (Sept. 17) and Brooklyn (Oct. 14)…Had 12 kills apiece in four-set matches against Gwynedd Mercy (Sept. 29) and Lebanon Valley (Nov. 9 in the ECAC tournament)…Added 10-kill matches against Washington College (Sept. 3), Ursinus (Sept. 6) and Delaware Valley (Sept. 10)…Had a hitting percentage of .526 (13 kills, three errors, 19 attempts) in the Oct. 14 Brooklyn match…Hit .450 (10-1-20) against Delaware Valley (Sept. 10), .440 (13-2-25) against Baruch (Sept. 17) and .421 (8-0-19) against Penn State-Brandywine (Sept. 24)…Notched her season high of six blocks (one solo, five assisted) against Wilkes (Sept. 24) and added five (three solo, two assisted) in the Baruch match Sept. 17.

High School: Graduated from Barnegat High School in 2016 after capturing 10 varsity letters and earning Honor Roll status academically…Captured four varsity letters in spring track, three in winter track, two in volleyball and one in dance…Helped team capture two conference volleyball championships.
