Tiffany Hoffman returns for her third season with the Rutgers-Camden lacrosse program. A senior academically who has junior athletic eligibility in lacrosse, Hoffman also competed in one Rutgers-Camden cross country meet during the 2016 season.
A stellar student, Hoffman has been a member of every Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll since it was first named, beginning with the Fall 2015 semester. She added a berth on the AD Honor Roll for the Spring 2016, Fall 2016, Spring 2017 and Fall 2017 semesters. She also has been a member of Rutgers-Camden’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee during both the 2016-17 and 2017-18 scholastic years.
Lacrosse 2017: Played in 14 games, starting 10…Notched three goals and one assist for her first four collegiate points…Took 11 shots, with six on goal for a .545 percentage…Collected 11 ground balls, one draw control and one caused turnover…Took two shots and notched her first career goal against Rosemont College (March 2), helping the Scarlet Raptors post a 15-2 victory for their first opening-day win in program history…Added her first career ground ball in that game…Had one goal and two ground balls against Cedar Crest (April 14)…Had her first caused turnover, while adding a ground ball, against Stockton University (April 19)…Set her career high with six ground balls, while adding one goal and her first career assist in a 21-10 win over Gwynedd Mercy (April 27).
Cross Country 2016: Competed in one race to help out the Scarlet Raptors’ cross country team at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships Oct. 29…Posted a time of 34:59.85 in the 6K race, finishing sixth on the team and 89th of 89 overall.
Lacrosse 2016: Appeared in four games as a freshman, taking one shot…Made her collegiate debut at Rosemont College (March 7) and took her lone shot, which was on goal for a 1.000 shots on goal percentage…Also played against Delaware Valley University (March 22), Penn State-Abington (March 24) and Immaculata University (April 4).
High School: Dual-sport letterwinner who earned five varsity letters between cross country and lacrosse at Maple Shade High School…Cross country team captain as a senior…Graduated in 2014.
Personal: Born July 14, 1996…Hobbies and interests include playing with her dogs at the dog park, hanging out with family and friends and bartending…Psychology and Criminal Justice double major…Notes that post-graduation plans include, “Police Academy…law school…Air Force…The world is my oyster”…Tiffany is the daughter of David and Christine Hoffman of Cinnaminson.
