Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Demi Albertini started both games for the Rutgers-Camden lacrosse team in 2020 before the season was cut short prematurely due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She has played in 28 games at Rutgers-Camden, starting 27, and collecting three goals and seven assists for 10 points. She has added 17 ground balls and two caused turnovers in her Scarlet Raptor career.
 
Albertini also ran in one cross country meet during the 2019 fall season to help that program.
 
Albertini, who had junior eligibility in lacrosse but who was a senior academically, attended Kutztown University as a freshman.
 
Academics: Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2018 Spring and 2020 Spring semesters.
 
Lacrosse 2020: Started both games in the abbreviated two-game season…Collected one ground ball and one caused turnover, both coming against Bryn Mawr (March 10).
 
Cross Country 2019: Ran in the 6K Inter-Regional Border Battle (Oct. 19), finishing third on the Scarlet Raptors and 212th of 224 overall (28:10.8).
 
Lacrosse 2019: Started all 15 of the Scarlet Raptors’ games…Scored the first points of her career, collecting three goals and seven assists to place fifth on the team with 10 points…Her seven assists tied for third on the Raptors…Took eight shots, with seven on goal for an .875 percentage…Tied for seventh on the team with 13 ground balls…Notched her first career caused turnover…Collected her first career points with two assists in the Raptors’ season-opening win over Penn State-Abington (March 14)…Added a career-high three ground balls in that game…Collected a hat trick for her first three career goals in a 19-7 win over SUNY-Purchase (March 15), while also adding two ground balls…Notched one assist and two ground balls in back-to-back games against Gwynedd Mercy (March 19) and DeSales (March 23)…Had two ground balls and her first career caused turnover against Bryn Mawr College (April 11)…Collected one assist in three straight games against Stockton (April 18), Kean (April 20) and Rowan (April 23).
 
Lacrosse 2018: Played in 11 games, making 10 starts…Had three ground balls…Took two shots, one on goal…Made her collegiate lacrosse debut in a season-opening start against Gwynedd Mercy University (March 10)…Notched one ground ball apiece against Neumann (March 29), Manhattanville (April 4) and Kean (April 19)…Had one shot on goal against Manhattanville and took one shot against Purchase (April 7).
 
Pre-Rutgers: Attended Kutztown University during her freshman year, but didn’t play lacrosse.
 
High School: Graduate of Camden Catholic High School in 2016.
