Garrett Warner compiled a .286 career batting average in 55 career games as a Scarlet Raptor, while collecting 15 RBIs, 26 runs and going 8-for-8 on stolen base attempts.
A standout in the classroom, Warner earned numerous academic honors, including berths on the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll during all eight of his semesters on campus.

Baseball 2022: Earned a regular starting job for the first time in his career, making 28 starts in 31 games…Hit .284 with 29 hits, 12 runs and 14 RBIs…Had one double, one triple and one home run for a .343 slugging percentage…Walked nine times and had a .339 on-base percentage…Went 7-for-7 on stolen base attempts…Had 22 putouts and three assists in the outfield…Collected seven multiple-hit games, including four games with three hits apiece…Had four multiple-RBI games, including a big game against Plattsburgh State (March 16) when he went 3-for-4 with two runs, three RBIs, one stolen base, one putout and one assist…Had a four-game hitting streak (April 22-28), going 5-for-12 (.417)…Closed his career with a big doubleheader against Montclair State (April 30), going 5-for-9 with one run, one RBI and one stolen base.
Baseball 2021: Played in nine games, starting two in left field…Hit .444 (4-for-9) with a .667 slugging percentage and a.600 on-base percentage…Had two doubles, five walks, two runs, one RBI and one sacrifice fly…Collected six putouts in six chances for a 1.000 fielding percentage…Went 1-for-1 against New Jersey City (April 10, Game Two) in his first official at bat of the season, after drawing a walk against William Paterson (April 3)…Went 1-for-1 with a double and a run scored at Stockton (April 23)…Hit a sacrifice fly against Kean (April 24, Game One)…Went 2-for-5 with a double, three walks and a stolen base during a doubleheader against Ramapo (May 1), collecting one hit in each game…Had his season high of two putouts in the opening Ramapo game.
Baseball 2020: Appeared in four of the six games that Rutgers-Camden played during the abbreviated 2020 season, which was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic…Was a defensive replacement in center field in the bottom of the fifth inning in the nightcap of a doubleheader against Immaculata (Feb. 23)…Went on to draw a walk and also hit into a fielder’s choice in his only plate appearances of the season…Also added one putout and one assist in that game…Was a pinch-runner in the opening game against Oneonta (March 1)…Was a defensive substitute in the outfield against both Ursinus (March 2) and Neumann (March 9).
Baseball 2019: Played in 11 games, mostly as a pinch-runner or pinch-hitter…Went 1-for-7 (.143) with two runs...Made his collegiate debut as a pinch-runner in the second game of a doubleheader at Lynchburg (March 15)…Had his first at bat as a pinch-hitter against Rutgers-Newark (April 4)…Scored his first run at Stockton (April 18)…Notched his first collegiate hit with a pinch-hit single in the eighth inning against Ramapo College (April 28, Game 2) and also picked up his first putout after going into left field…Went 0-for-2 with a walk and a run scored against The College of New Jersey (April 29).
High School: Four-year varsity baseball letterman at Clayton High School…Also earned two varsity letters apiece in wrestling and soccer with the Clippers…Captured numerous baseball honors during his career: As a senior, earned All-Conference First Team, Defensive Player of the Year and was named the MVP of the 18th Annual Delaney Classic; As a junior, was named All-Conference Second Team and earned Offensive Player of the Year; Captured a Sportsmanship Award as a sophomore and earned All-Conference Honorable Mention as a freshman…Graduated in 2018.
