Nick Listro collected a pair of saves in both of his two seasons at Rutgers-Camden, leading the team both years. Despite pitching only two seasons at Rutgers-Camden, he finished his career tied for seventh on the program’s all-time saves list.

After pitching his freshman year at Montclair State University in 2014, Listro joined the armed forces before returning to collegiate baseball in 2021 with Rutgers-Camden. He worked 35 innings over two seasons with the Scarlet Raptors.

Baseball 2022: Led the team with 12 appearances, all in relief, and two saves…Posted a 0-0 record and a 6.88 ERA…Worked 17 innings, allowing 16 hits and 15 runs (13 earned)…Walked seven and struck out 13…Added one putout and one assist in two total chances for a 1.000 fielding percentage…Hurled a scoreless, hitless two innings in his season debut against Immaculata (March 3), walking one and striking out three…Notched his first save in a 4-2 win over Western New England (March 17), working a season-high three innings and allowing four hits and two earned runs, while striking out three…Saved an 8-7 10-inning win over Rutgers-Newark (April 8), striking out one in a perfect 10th inning…Hurled a scoreless inning against Neumann (April 12), walking one, striking out one and allowing one hit…Pitched two-thirds of a scoreless inning against Rowan (April 21)…In his final outing of the season, worked 2.1 innings against Montclair State (April 30), allowing two hits, three runs (only one earned) and collecting two strikeouts.

Baseball 2021: Appeared in nine games, making one start…Worked 18 innings, allowing 15 hits and 10 runs (nine earned) for a 4.50 ERA…Walked 12, struck out 12 and hit five…Led the staff with two saves…Held opponents to a .214 batting average…Posted a 1-2 record…Made his first Rutgers-Camden appearance at William Paterson (March 21, Game Two), working two innings, striking out two and allowing three hits, one earned run and two walks…Earned his first save at Stockton (April 22), striking out four and allowing two hits and one walk in 2.2 scoreless innings, helping to preserve a 15-12 Scarlet Raptor win…Notched his second save in a 5-4 win at Kean (April 24, Game Two), hurling two perfect innings and collecting one strikeout…Following his lone tough outing of the season (six earned runs in three innings at Ramapo, May 1, Game One), allowed only one earned run over his final three appearances, covering 5.2 innings…Had one-hit shutout innings against Rutgers-Newark (May 4) and William Paterson (May 7, Game One) in the NJAC playoffs, including one strikeout in the Newark game…Closed the season in the second game of the May 7 Paterson doubleheader, working 3.2 innings, striking out two and allowing one hit, one walk and one earned run…Overall, didn’t allow any earned runs in five of his nine appearances and allowed only one earned run on three other occasions.

Pre-Rutgers: Posted a 1-1 record and a 2.45 ERA in seven games at Montclair State University in 2014…Made three starts and four relief appearances, working 18-1/3 innings and allowing 15 hits and six runs (five earned)…Had seven walks and nine strikeouts, while holding opponents to a .224 batting average…Earned his first collegiate victory in an 11-1 MSU win by working a season-high five innings against York College of Pennsylvania (April 22)…He allowed five hits, three walks and one earned run in that game, while striking out one…Had a season-high four strikeouts in four innings against Rensselaer (April 15)…Also threw four shutout innings against Rutgers-Camden (April 5), allowing one hit and collecting one strikeout.
