Biography

An All-New Jersey Athletic Conference performer both on the court and in the classroom, Morgan Fox completed her brilliant Rutgers-Camden volleyball career with 1,503 digs, third on the program’s all-time list. She also finished among the career leaders with 3.86 digs/set (fourth), 389 sets played (ninth), 115 matches (10th) and 125 aces (10th).
 
In addition to her athletic accomplishments, Fox captured numerous academic honors.
 
Academics: New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention for the 2019-20 and 2020-21 scholastic years…Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2019 Spring, 2019 Fall, 2020 Spring, 2020 Fall, 2022 Spring and 2022 Fall semesters…Dean’s List student.
 
Volleyball 2022: Played in all 29 matches and appeared in 101 of the Raptors’ 105 sets…Led the team with 352 digs, the 14th-highest single-season total in program history…Led the team with 3.49 digs/set…Tied for second on the team with 59 assists…Fourth on the team with 30 service aces…Added one kill…Collected double-digit digs on 17 occasions, including four matches with 20 or more digs…Had a high of 25 digs against Moravian (Oct. 16) and also had 24 digs against Gwynedd Mercy (Oct. 20)…Had six assists against Ramapo (Sept. 22) and five against Moravian (Oct. 16)…Collected her high of four aces against both DeSales (Sept. 3) and Wilkes (Sept. 17)…Notched her lone kill of the season against Kean (Oct. 13) in her only attack attempt for a 1.000 hitting percentage.
 
Volleyball 2021:  New Jersey Athletic Conference Second Team…NJAC Defensive Player of the Week (Oct. 11)…All-ECAC Tournament Team (Nov. 12-13)…Rutgers-Camden Raptor of the Week on Oct. 18…Her team-leading 424 digs were the eighth-highest single-season total in program history…Third on the Raptors with 67 assists and fourth with 44 service aces…Added three kills…Played in 106 sets over 30 matches…Notched double-digit digs in 23 matches, including six with 20 or more digs…Also had 19 digs on four occasions, including on Oct. 14 against Rowan when she became just the fifth player in program history to reach 1,000 career digs…Had a high of 25 digs against William Paterson (Oct. 12) and added 22 against both DeSales (Sept. 3) and Alvernia (Oct 23)…Had her highs of five assists in back-to-back matches against Ramapo (Sept. 28) and Marywood (Oct. 2)…Added her high of six service aces in the Marywood match.
 
Volleyball 2020: Played in all seven matches and 23 sets during the abbreviated 2020 season, which was held in March, 2021…Led the team with 91 digs and a 3.99 digs per set average…Added 11 assists, second on the team…Collected three service aces and one kill…Notched double-digit digs in four matches, with a high of 20 during a five-set match against Montclair State (March 11), when she added one kill, one ace and her season high of four assists…Had 19 digs and one assist in a three-set match against New Jersey City (March 18)…Collected 14 digs, one assist and one ace in the season-opening match against William Paterson (March 2)…Had 17 digs in a match at Kean (March 16), while adding two assists and one ace.
 
Volleyball 2019: Played in all 28 Rutgers-Camden matches…Tied for the team lead with 96 sets played…Led the team with 397 digs and a 4.14 digs/set average…Her 397 digs were the eighth-highest single-season total in program history…Finished third on the club with 49 assists and 33 service aces…Added seven kills…Named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 7…Also named Rutgers-Camden’s Raptor of the Week Oct. 7…Collected double-digits in digs in 21 of her 28 matches…Had a high of 23 digs against Alvernia (Oct. 5), one of four matches with 20-plus digs…Also had 22 digs against Sarah Lawrence (Oct. 12) and matches of 21 digs against both Penn State-Abington (Sept. 11) and William Paterson (Oct. 1)…Had her high of four service aces against both Brooklyn (Oct. 19) and New Jersey City (Oct. 26)…Had a high of four assists against both Delaware Valley (Sept. 5) and Wilkes (Sept. 21)…Her high of two kills came against John Jay (Oct. 2).
 
Volleyball 2018: Played in 63 sets over 21 matches…Second on the team with 239 digs…Fourth on the team with 45 assists…Had 15 service aces (fifth on the Raptors) and added three kills…Made her collegiate debut by playing two sets against Baruch College (Aug. 31), notching five digs, her season-high of three service aces, and one assist…Had nine matches of double-digit digs, all coming in her last 12 matches of the season…Earned New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week recognition on Oct. 15, aided by a 40-dig match against Rowan University (Oct. 9), which was the second-highest amount of digs in a five-set match in Rutgers-Camden volleyball history…Also had 25 digs against Gwynedd Mercy (Oct. 13), 21 against William Paterson (Oct. 4) and 20 against Albright (Sept. 29)…Notched her high of eight assists against Wilkes (Sept. 22), while adding 15 digs.
 
High School: Volleyball letterwinner at Schuylkill Valley High School…Graduated in 2018…All-County Honorable Mention as a junior and a senior…Honor Roll student.
