Rutgers-Camden Athletics

A Dean’s List student with several academic honors, Delaney Kolb completed her stellar Rutgers-Camden volleyball career having played in 289 sets over 90 matches, tying for 17th on the program’s all-time list in both categories. She also finished 15th in total attacks (1,094).
 
Over her four-year career, Kolb compiled 290 kills and 228 digs, along with 64 service aces.
 
Academics: Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2019 Spring, 2019 Fall, 2020 Fall, 2021 Spring and 2021 Fall semesters…Dean’s List student.
 
Volleyball 2021: Notched career highs for sets (105), matches (30), digs (155), service aces (37) and assists (13)…Added 27 kills and two blocks…Collected her high of six kills against King’s College (Sept. 11), while added 12 digs, four service aces and one assist…Also had four aces against Centenary in the first match of the Sept. 11 tri-match, and against Wilkes on Sept. 19…Collected double-digit digs on four occasions, with a high of 29 against Elizabethtown (Oct. 9), when she added two assists and two aces…Notched 11 digs apiece against Ramapo (Sept. 28) and Brooklyn (Oct. 23).
 
Volleyball 2020: Tied for the team lead by playing in all seven matches and 23 sets during the pandemic-shortened season, which was held in March, 2021…Finished second on the team with 48 kills and a 2.09 kills per set average…Second on the team with 40 digs…Third in digs per set (1.74)…Third on the team with 11 aces and a 0.48 ace per set average…Added five assists and four blocks (one solo, three assisted)…Collected a double-double with season highs of 13 kills and 11 digs against Montclair State (March 11), while adding two aces, one assist and one assisted block…Opened the season with nine kills, seven digs, one assisted block and her season high of three aces at William Paterson (March 2)…Hit .316 with seven kills, while adding three digs and one ace against Kean (March 16).
 
Volleyball 2019: Played in all 28 matches…Fifth on the team with 85 sets played…Fifth on the team with 97 kills and a 1.14 kills/set average…Third on the team with 19 blocks (three solo, 16 assisted)…Added 38 digs, 15 service aces and eight assists…Notched a season high of eight kills against Elizabethtown (Oct. 12) and added seven against both Keystone (Aug. 31) and Messiah (Oct. 26)…Had a season-high .417 hitting percentage in the Messiah match (seven kills, two errors in 12 total attacks) and a .375 percentage against Elizabethtown (8-2-16)…Notched three service aces against both William Paterson (Oct. 1) and Brooklyn (Oct. 19)…Had her high of five digs against both Immaculata (Oct. 14) and Brooklyn (Oct. 19)…Collected three blocks (one solo, two assisted) against Elizabethtown (Oct. 12) and three assisted blocks against Ramapo (Oct. 22).
 
Volleyball 2018: Started 10 of her 25 matches, while playing in 76 sets…Finished fourth on the team in kills (118) and fifth in kills per set (1.55)…Notched 25 digs, one service ace and 17 total blocks (one solo and 16 assisted)…Had a .101 hitting percentage…Made her collegiate debut in the season opener against DeSales (Aug. 31), playing one set and notching one kill in her only attack attempt…Had her first start at Delaware Valley (Sept. 6) and added one kill…Had season-high totals of 12 kills against both Rowan (Oct. 9) and New Jersey City (Oct. 23)…Had her season-high hitting percentage of .438 against Albright (Sept. 29), notching eight kills with only one error in 16 attempts…Collected a season-high five digs, while adding five kills, against Wilkes (Sept. 22)…Had her season high of three assisted blocks against Gwynedd Mercy (Oct. 13), adding seven kills and one dig.
 
High School: Graduated in 2018 from Dallastown Area High School…Captured four varsity letters in softball and three in volleyball…Played for Volleyball Coach Shannon Werner…Earned All-Conference First Team in volleyball and softball…Nominated for Athlete of the Week and Athlete of the Year.
