Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Andrew Walker played a key role on the Scarlet Raptors during his first season with the Rutgers-Camden basketball team. He appeared in 20 of the Raptors’ 22 games and finished among the team leaders in scoring, assists and steals.

Basketball 2021-22: Played in 20 games, starting 15…Averaged 6.7 points per game, the fourth-highest total on the team…Second on the Raptors in assists (33) and steals (20)…Averaged 2.3 rebounds per game…Shot 24-for-57 from three-point range for the 11th-best single-season percentage (.421) among all players with the minimum of 50 attempts…Shot 17-for-19 (.895) from the foul line and 46-for-117 (.393) from the floor overall…Made his collegiate debut Nov. 11 against Cabrini, collecting three points, two rebounds and one steal in 10 minutes…Started his first game against the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (Nov. 20), collecting two assists and one rebound…Started all but two games the rest of the season…Collected back-to-back double-digit games in points, scoring 10 against New Jersey City (Dec. 4) and 13 against Rowan (Dec. 8), adding his high of four assists in the NJCU game…Collected 14 points (4-for-6 from three-point range and 2-for-2 from the foul line), while adding three rebounds and two assists in his second game against New Jersey City (Jan. 22)…Had a season-high seven rebounds and added nine points, three assists and two steals against William Paterson (Feb. 9)…Collected his season high of 15 points against Kean (Feb. 12), shooting 4-for-8 from the floor (including 3-for-5 from three-point range) and 4-for-4 from the foul line…Added four rebounds, two assists and one steal in that game.
