Biography

Chris Bonafiglia has appeared in 30 games during each of his two seasons with the Scarlet Raptors, starting 32 and compiling a .243 batting average with 26 runs and 12 RBIs. He owns six career doubles, while adding one triple, two home runs and 10 stolen bases in 12 attempts.
 
Baseball 2023: Started 23 of his 30 games…Hit .266 with 18 runs and 11 RBIs…Had four doubles, one triple and two home runs…Stole seven bases in eight attempts…Hit by a pitch 11 times, ranking third on the team, and drew eight walks…Produced a .418 slugging percentage and a .392 on-base percentage…Tied for the team lead with four sacrifice flies and added two sacrifices…Three of his sacrifice flies came against Cairn (March 18) to set a single-game program record and help the Raptors set a single-game team mark with six sacrifice flies…Collected 34 putouts and had six outfield assists…Had a four-game hitting streak from March 14-18 (4-for-11, .364, with four runs and four RBIs), capped with a 1-for-2 game, a HBP, two runs and three RBIs against Cairn (March 18)…Collected two outfield assists against Immaculata (March 23)…Had a huge doubleheader against Ursinus on March 25, going 2-for-5 with one run and one RBI in the opener and 4-for-4 with two doubles, a home run, one run and one RBI in the nightcap…That performance earned him honors as the Rutgers-Camden Raptor of the Week on March 27…Walked four times, one shy of the program’s single-game record, in a contest against The College of New Jersey (April 27)…Had four putouts on a pair of occasions, coming against FDU-Florham (March 4) and The College of New Jersey (May 1).
 
Baseball 2022: Started nine of his 30 games, hitting .194, while collecting two doubles, four walks and reaching base three times as a hit batsman…Scored eight runs, had one RBI and was successful on three of his four stolen base attempts…Had a .250 slugging percentage and a .326 on-base percentage…Notched 14 putouts…Had three assists, two from the outfield and one as a catcher…Had a three-game hitting streak from March 14 (Game Two) through March 17, going 5-for-10 (.500) with two doubles, four runs, one RBI and one stolen base…Had back-to-back two-hit games with one double apiece in that stretch, going 2-for-3 with two runs against Mitchell (March 14, Game Two) and 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI against Plattsburgh State (March 16)…Made his first collegiate start as a right fielder, going 0-for-2…Had a season-high four putouts and added an assist while starting in center field against Widener (March 25), going 1-for-2 with one run, one walk and one HBP.
